“An agile transformation is restructuring the company to optimize for speed and value production.”
Joe Justice
Today, a new group of Scrum trainers and coaches is sharing its first article about Scrum while announcing its approach to sharing agile knowledge and celebrating learning accomplishments. What is special about us? Why should you care?
This seems like a terrible time to introduce a new group or a new approach. There are many companies offering competing (and often nearly identical) training and certification products. It has gotten to the point where it seems the main purpose of a Scrum training is to put 3 more letters after your name on LinkedIn. Not surprisingly, the value of such classes is low and prices are in free-fall. Is this what Scrum is supposed to be about?
Furthermore, the Covid crisis has caused huge shifts in demand while creating a global market that is putting pressure on prices and even driving players out of the market.
“Every challenge is an opportunity”
Mizanur Rahman
Agile companies are spectacularly more successful than traditionally managed companies. They are good at creating value. They are good at managing risk. They are good at fixing problems. They are good at creating new markets. This is what you and your company can be.
“Finally a way to organize people that makes sense!”
Peter Stevens
When we teach agility, this is what we are trying to teach. We strive to apply that which we teach and believe in. We see a need to innovate on how to share that knowledge. As Scrum Ambassadors, we strive to live the Agile Manifesto in our lives and work.
“We are uncovering better ways of [doing what we do],
the Agile Manifesto (paraphrased).
by doing it and helping others to do it.”
We envision a world where agile expertise is widely available to people in all countries, languages and industries. From operations to innovation and new product development to leadership. Our mission is to help agile practitioners achieve mastery in their chosen field. Our mission is to help companies thrive with agility.
