Apply here after completing your Scrum Ambassadors training or coaching program to become a Certified Upcoming Ambassador with the Scrum Ambassadors (SA-CUA).

A SA-CUA has not only learned Scrum, but can explain and apply Scrum to the real world. A SA-CUA has worked with their team and an experienced Scrum Ambassador to overcome challenges.

A SA-CUA can leverage their teams to deliver value and solve problems effectively.

How to become a SA-CUA

Through a combination of training and coaching

  • Take a 14 to 21-hour course with a SA-LT
  • Participate in 5 group coaching sessions with a SA-LT or SA-CRA over a minimum of 2 sprints and 4 weeks
  • Set up your profile on ScrumAmbasadors.org
  • Apply and share your case study.

By a Recognition Through Engagement Program

  1. Work with an approved SA-CRA for at least 8 weeks and 2 sprints (minimum 24 contact hours)
  2. Set up your profile on ScrumAmbasadors.org
  3. Apply and share your case study.

Application Process

The Application to become a SA-CUA has 3 pages:

  • Grant permission to the Scrum Ambassadors to store your data
  • About you and your experience with Scrum
  • Miscellaneous information

To apply, you must be logged in and your profile must be complete, including a picture. You need to know who taught your course, when it started, whether your name is spelled correctly on the registration. We will ask you to answer 5 questions about your use of Scrum — Kindly respond with a short paragraph of about 3 or 4 sentences each. You can also link to a video with a recording of your answers

You will probably need about 15 minutes to complete the application. While preparing your application, you can save it at any time to return to finish it later.
